About Us
GiftGen is the creation of two ex-college buddies both now in their thirties. The site took over 2 years to develop, which involved research of gift ideas, websites and high street shops. The site does not have its own products to promote and is therefore unbiased, and able to suggest any gift idea under the sun. Gift ideas range from free ideas like ‘Wash their car Voucher’, to top end ideas such as ‘A trip on the orient express’ and ethical ideas like ‘Some chicks for a 3rd world family’.

Media Exposure
The Gift Ideas Generator was recently featured as the No. 1 'most useful shopping site' (beating eBay & Kelkoo) in the Telegraph's '101 most useful websites' article. We've also been featured on Radio 2's 'Website of the day' and on GMTV, where it was used for christmas present ideas. We were also featured in the 'Best new websites' section of 'Web User' magazine (Dec 2006), where we received 4 stars out of 5.

We respect your privacy at all times. Any email addresses provided to us will not be forwarded to any third parties. Neither will any newsletters or spam be sent to you. Email addresses will only be used to reply to a query you may have raised or a request to add an entry to our gift ideas or web-site databases.
